Delhi’s famed Bukhara to ‘Pop Up’ in London

New Delhi culinary institution ‘Bukhara’ - often described as “The Best Indian in the World” where Bill Clinton famously dined during a state visit to India - is bringing some of its’ Tandoor magic to London this May.
A pop-up of the famed restaurant will be set up at the Sheraton Park Tower hotel in Knightsbridge for a two week period starting 17th May.
Bukhara at Sheraton Park Tower is described as an indoor and outdoor dining experience - provided the weather holds up.
And visitors will be able to enjoy the award-winning cuisine in a suitably plush environment, designed by the peculiarly multi-talented Waris Ahluwalia: occasional adventurer, jewellery designer, actor and hirsute Indian American.
Manjit Gill - the corporate chef of ITC Hotels, owner of Bukhara - will introduce guests to some of the restaurant’s signature dishes, including Sikandari Raan (Marinated Whole Leg of Spring Lamb), Murgh Malai Kebab (Creamy Chicken Kebab) and the not-to-be-missed Dal Bukhara (a combination of whole black lentils, tomatoes, ginger and garlic slow-cooked over coals for 18 hours).
BUKHARA at Sheraton Park Tower will be open for dinner from Thursday, May 17th to Friday June 1st from 6.30pm to 10.30pm each night.
Reservations can be made from March 29th 2012 at or by calling +44 (0) 208 045 0715.
